First In Line

Lol. I just came from a 5-day-4-night vacation in Taipei. I had a great time. As usual I had to deal with queueing at the airport for the baggage claim, for the bus to and fro the hotel, etc. I noticed that a lot of my colleagues are always rushing to be the first in line. I used to be like that but realized there's no point as it will only get crowded. Even in the tourist bus we were in, I used to sit at the back. How about you? Are you the type to rush into the front or are you the type to just relax and wait till the crowd dissipates?

I am glad that you had a lovely vacation in Taipei. I went to Latvia this summer and had a wonderful time. At the airport gate my flight wasn't listed and two other flights were, one to Russia and the other to Georgia. My airline only just listed my flight ten minutes before the time boarding was due to happen. I waited holding my toddler son and felt weak. I was at the front of the queue and couldn't wait to get on board. I wanted to get a window seat near the front of the aircraft. Yes, I am on to rush if I am able to do so but if I am not I am patient.

It's hard when you have a little kid with you also. You'd want to make sure you get seated soon. But that's a lousy service. Hehe. I have never experienced something like that when I was travelling.

Thanks very much for the best response. Traveling is about the destination so I remember that when it gets a bit stressful at the airport.
