My daughter is almost 6 months old and has been teething since she was 2 months old!! What methods do you use to get through this troubling time?

give her a little bit of baby tylenol and what i did was put a few clean wash cloths in the freezer and give one to my daughter. its very safe and the cloth gets soft as the baby chews on it. its worth a try.

We alternate between tylenol and Motrin. Heck I even have a homeopathic liquid she gets on occasion! The washcloths are a great idea! I will have to give that a try!

We have a few of those. It seems though, that she much prefers to chew on my fingers!! (see picture at left!!) And anyhting else she can get in her mouth besides those rings!

I put the numbing gel on my kids gums when they were hurting.

I use that too! Unfortunately, it only seems to last 15 minutes before she's crying again! It is good if she ready for bed and just can't get to sleep because of the pain. I use that and try to get her to fall asleep before it wears off.
