Uh Oh, Discussions Gone

As I am going through my notifications filed-up for two days, I came to check one of my friend's discussions and profile. Well, actually, he's in my friends list but we are not really friends. It so happened that there was something happened with this guy, his wrong doings on here, and I came up with a discussion about him. I never mentioned his name in my discussion but his topics were reported for abuse by few members who actually witnessed and confirmed that there was actually a violation or violations in his discussions. I pity him because when I checked his profile, everything has gone, his started discussions, discussions he responded to. Does this mean he is already banned now? Has this happened to you? Has anyone you know got banned because someone reported of violations? How did you feel about it?

The person that you are talking about is on my friends list too best. I checked his profile and I guess it's true, he was banned. Well, I am not affected with this. I've tried to warn him not to repeat those violations and he repeated it over and over again. That's what you get when you get stubborn and never listen to advices. I guess some members spotted it too and reported the violations. Your last topic about mylot guidelines is really helpful. I'm proud of you best. Keep posting. HUGZ!

If all discussions were deleted this member is either banned or has been removed as far as being an active member or even requested they be removed. myLot leaves banned and evicted members profiles still up on the site. This makes the site appear a larger group than it actually is which is a falsehood in a sense.

hearing from what you say, i think your friend had been banned from here if all his discussions, responses and profiles had been wiped clean... but i am just wondering what kind of rules that he violates that make him to get banned from here... is it really serious??? if not, i really pity him... may be he can appeal to the admin to restore it back again for him... good luck... take care and have a nice day...

HI lingli. That person that my best here is referring to has been found guilty of copying another members' discussions. As in copying word per word. He didn't only done it once, almost all of his discussions are copied. Well, we've tried to warn him but he didn't stop and some members noticed it too and maybe reported it to the admin.

If everything about this person is gone, then they have definitely been banned and their account closed.
I don't know of anyone that has happened to, but then I have not really checked my friends list to find out, mostly because I've had no reason to.
I did see someone here once who was extremely rude and his comments were totally inappropriate. He was fairly new to myLot, so I checked his profile and it looks like his entire purpose for being here was to cause trouble. I reported him for the comment and I'm sure I was not the only one. I am also sure that this person has had his account deleted by the myLot authorities by now. I can't remember his name so I can't look him up (he was never on my friends list!).

as long as we can feel that somebody is abusing, we can report it right away to the admin. i am glad that at least, one abusive member is already out of mylot now.

I am sorry to hear about your friend banned but is it possible to delete their own profile and get out of mylot site?

i am not so sure if member can delete their profile on their own. but in my friends case, it was confirmed that he was banned. he tried to come back by logging in but mylot already rejected him and was not able to log-in.

no i have read in many discussions that people who have violated mylot guidlines have been sorted out and knocked out . I guess they can only enter through nly as a new user, yes the guy in your friends list might be banned , we cannot delete our mylot account if im right, if one cannot delete his/her account or discussions or post then that guy must be reported abuse.. i really pity on that guy he should have been feeling for this i dont know how much he has earned so far but loosing earning is really sad...

[i]That is very sad to know..ANyway, I was also wondering one of my active friend here whom I have not seen for 2 weeks and one member posted a topic asking people what happen to her and from that we learned that she was banned, she was also reported!
I wish there are warnings for some violations! Anyway, rules are rules![/i]

Hi nwil'-it has happened to me once but have not known why they were banned..it perturbed me but didn't worry me as I have so many other friend as well I hasn'r even known the person had gone...littleowl

when some of my discussions were deleted i just smiled and say to myself "ok i am wrong" but if my discussion was deleted due to violation of other users who had responded to my thread i get angry 'coz i am losing points because of them

that one is very unfair to the OP if his topic will be deleted complete with just a response or two that violates any rules.

Hi Neil,
No I haven't a clue who has been banned from this site, unless they leave of the own free will but if they are been banned, its because they have not followed the Mylot guideline and maybe abusive, we don't know, sorry if he was on your friend list.

Awww that is too bad to hear but I wonder what was the post he made that made him kick to the site..Well,thanks for the information you share...I'm sure no one will dare now to post some violent stuff around here that will make the member react negatively..:-0

some few members here spotted him stealing a post or two. he was reported to abuse.
