My father is alive in my dreams

My father died in 1997 because of pneumonia. I love my father so much but I was never that close to him. He was a quiet person, a strict father especially when we were in our teens. Maybe because he was just a protective father. I never had the chance to say the things I need to say to my father. I wanted to thank him for all what he has done to us but I never did. He loved us, but I never showed the love that was supposed to be given back to him. I felt that I was so unfair. So many things left undone. I dream, and in my dreams, I still see my father alive and talking to me. When I wake up, I see reality and my father is not there. What I do is just cry. I miss my father.
