how to get traffic for a site

I link whenever possible on websites and in forum profile; creating new content daily is a huge help too. I've also had some luck by commenting on other people's blogs or asking my friends to help spread the word. You're probably best off by creating new content and getting spotted by a search engine, however.

I always update my blog, submit url at directory, with friendship or social networking. But, almost important the content my site and blogs are new. I always suggested that content is the king.

One of the best ways is to have a network of friends with websies who have a links page on their site. My husband has one for various ypes of authors. I'm not on hee so much because I'm his wife, rather because I published a cookbook. That's good because it doesn't show sigs o avouritism. Find more popular sites with links pages, and see if you can get a link on their site.

Try to exchange with someone that needs traffic to their sites!
