Oil is Running Out. What do you think?

Oil is running out. Regardless if we drill more, the stuff is going to run out. Did anyone ever think about the millions of gallons we suck out of the Earth we LIVE on? Did you ever think this stuff was here for a reason? Do you think removing millions of gallons in weight and burning it up helps our planet? Do you think this might have an effect on rotation ? I understand that the earth provides us with everything we need. (And I mean what we need is getting distorted with what we want) But when is enough, enough? We cannot continue to take from her and still expect her to be as healthy or able to sustain us....if all we do is take. The Earth will be here long after we are gone. Whether our climate or the Earth's condition will support what we do need, is uncertain. Oxygen, water, sunlight (but not crazy UV's) those are the things we need. What we do now determines how long we will be here. It determines the world we deliver to our children. It determines the world for all people that are unborn. For ALL PEOPLE! The thing that we have that connects us more than anything is the Earth and our reliance upon it. That is what people have in common and this should be one thing we can accomplish as a whole. The benefits are never-ending...And imagine....in our time...people banding together to conquer a world wide issue? Why not?

Hi there Honestly I think we should begin to stop using oil as a fuel or energy resource.. We should, no we MUST go to renewable sources of energy.. Like the sun or wind for example.. Have a good day..

You are right. They have made a solar powered bra that can power i-pods and phones (although you can't wash it or wear clothing over it ????) But I believe solar power is a good direction to go in. The sun is always in the sky and wind is a good idea... What about magnetism or the Earth's energy field...isn't there something we can try to do to be in-sync with nature, instead of us taking and depleting what's here...? thanks for your comments :)
