hello to you all! something is bothering me. someone close to me is suffering from bulimia, i think. she is always binge-eating. she would eat soo much more than her stomach could tolerate. it's as if she's torturing herself whenever she's eating. obviously she has issues about her body image because she would always complain how thin she is, how she wants to gain weight.. but every after this binge-eating, she would throw up in the bathroom. it's confusing, does she want to be fatter (since she's binge-eating) or thinner (since she's throwing up all the food she eats)? this has been going on for like a couple of years. i can spot if there's something wrong, and this is something that should not be ignored, right? but when i brought up about my suspisions that she might be bulimic, she denied and seemed uncomfortable to talk about it. what do i do? what are you guys going to do if you were in my shoes?
