Victoria Osteen accused of assaulting Continental Airlines flight attendant
Osteen is wife of Joel Osteen, whose sermons are televised nationally
Flight attendant Sharon Brown alleges Osteen threw her against door
Brown suing for damages equaling 10 percent of Victoria Osteen's net worth.Victoria Osteen is co-pastor at Lakewood Church, where her husband, Joel Osteen, preaches and where about 42,000 people flock each week. Joel Osteen's weekly television address is broadcast nationally and internationally.
Do you think this suit is justified? Or just a stunt for money?

It sounds like a case of assault of some kind. It is hard to imagine damages from the assault being so high. She elbowed the flight attendant and knocked her against the bathroom door. Someone might be offended by this. Someone might be modestly hurt. But the suit is clearly for money.

I am shocked to hear something about this with Joel Osteens wife, I am one of his many listeners, but to be sued for a loss of faith, no I seriously doubt that she had a loss of faith.

In my own opinion I think it is a stunt to get money. If it had been someone she didn't know she wouldn't have been so fast to sue probably. If it had been someone with less money she probably just write up a report and that be it. People see people with money and then they want it so that is what this is.. a greed suing.

I do not think any law suit like this is justified. So she bruised the stewardess up some. She did not cause in permanent damage. The lady is not cripple for life and did not have any life threatening injuries. So were does she come across asking for such a sum. It is outlandish. Why is this county so sue happy. It causes the costs of everything we do to be higher.

Well, I'm sure that there was some sort of scuffle but 'loss of faith', no. That's just trying to get as much money as possible. I have heard that Victoria Osteen is not the nicest of people to deal with unless you hand over money, lol. She has quite a temper. I don't think people can suffer from loss of faith just because one of those 'famous preachers' turns out to not follow God's guidelines, lol. Just happens too often, especially with those big shots.
