Do you wear sweatpants out?

I have "cute" sweatpants that I wear out. They are different colors and actually look cute with a tank top. But I usually dont do it often. On the weekend mornings I will run to the store in them sometimes.

Well, if you are talking about the "old style" sweatpants that have elastic around the bottom of the legs and a drawstring waist, no, I do not wear those out in public. I very rarely wear those anyway because the weather here is just too hot for that type of clothing. I do have a matching top and cropped pants and the cropped pants are made out of a lightweight "sweat" type of material. But, they have pockets on the side of the legs and just a regular waist (no drawstring). They look fine and I do wear them out to the store or when running errands. If I am in the middle of painting or some big home project and we need sandwiches or something like that, I have been known to run out and get the sandwiches in my painting clothes. And I look pretty bad at those times!! Much worse than just wearing sweatpants, that's for sure!

I wear them anywhere except to church. People like to dress leisurely. As for me as long as Iam comfortable am fine.

When it's cold outside and I have things to do outside the house, I'll wear sweatpants because they are so warm and cozy! I typically don't go shopping in them, but if it's a quick jaunt to the store for bread or something, I don't mind wearing them. They really ARE comfy and warm! When it's REALLY cold, I usually wear them to bed instead of pajamas. Our house is usually pretty nice, temperature-wise, but when the wind is howling outside, it sometimes gets a little cooler than I'd like at night, and I'd rather not turn up the thermostat with today's energy prices!

Hi my friend, I've been known to go out in sweatpants. In the winter time, sweatpants are my usual attire and if I just have to run to the grocery store or pet shop, I'll go in them. I figure at my age, I really don't care what other people think.. [i]Happy MyLotting, Char[/i]
