This might be a controversial question and one you don't have to answer if you don't want to, but I'm genuinely interested to know. Have you ever read the Bible? I mean any of it only if it was a page. Also if you have read the Bible when was the last time you read it?
For me I read the Bible nearly every day if not every day. It is very important to me, but I know that some people do not think so and I respect that.

I have read just about everyone's bible. Yeah every faith has its own version and translation. And don't kid yourself, there are some big differences in the translations. I can read it in the origional hebrew (the Tanach and the Torah) and there are some blatantly irresposible changes to the true text.
They just have to make it fit their beliefs even if that is not what it really says. But, I read them anyway. It is always good to understand the people around you. Most people are governed by some sort of faith or spirituality and it is good to know what makes them tick. If you just read one bible, you are missing out on a lot of weird stuff.
I have read a couple of translations of the Qu'aran too. They were different too. Who knows which is considered "correct" or if there even is a "correct" anymore just like the christian testament!

Good day... Yes, when I was still in my primary schooling we had a curriculum named bible study. We're read the bible, specifically the old testament about Abraham, jacob, Moses, Noah, Jonah and about sodom and gamorrha among others. As we went up the ladder we started reading about the new testament and focus on Jesus Christ. I can still remember most of the story and some of the biblical passages.

The Bible is the source of truth of every Christian, someone says that "it is a map of the traveler, the staff of the pilgrim, compass of the pilot, etc" it is more powerful than two edged sword, david says it his lamp unto his feet and light unto his path, may we view the same to us.
It is where the Holy Spirit speak to us, we need to read it regularly. Although, sometime, I have a very lax when it comes to my personal devotions but whenever I feel I need to be alone, I need to sit and open its pages and pray for God's guidance to overcome a situation and make a good decision, there is always comfort when we read God's word, and claim its promises.
Happy mylotting !

Well as a Christian... i have a strong believe that every1 must read it with a prayer as it is THE ULTIMATE SOURCE OF INSPIRATION and strength in our lives.... nevertheless I'm not regular but i tried my best to read with a prayer regularly......cos i know that & you also might have experience that every after a prayerful bible-study you feel happy, refreshing, rejuvenating, exhilarated that it is such a joy doing it as part of our life.......... God Bless.........

Yes, I've read it cover to cover twice (two different versions) and it just doesn't sit right with me, I find too many parts of it where I just want to smack the person who wrote it (such as the part about women being made to serve men, that part ticks me off every time).
I was born to a Catholic family, however, after really learning about the religion I knew it was something I would feel guilty if I followed mostly because so many of the things it says just doesn't seem right.
I have nothing against Christians (Well, normal Christians, the extremist, yea, those are the ones I can't stand) it's just I feel much better about myself being Pagan, it's a religion I can really agree with.

Honestly speaking, I don't read it before
but in my life now, I'm reading the Bible everyday.. at least a couple of passages from it. I'm making it a point of reference for some kind of direction and guidance in my daily tasks. During desperate times, I seek strength and inspiration from it--it truly works for me!

I've only read part of it, starting from the beginning, but I have yet to get all the way through it. I will eventually read it, though. I would like to eventually read many other religious books, as well. It all fascinates me very much. I don't feel that I have to read it in order to have faith, though.
