Is Smith the captain of the year 2008?

Many are talking about the great potentials of G.Smith and his caiptancy. Do you feel he is the captain of the year 2008 and lots need to be learned from him by others.
Previously it has been Stephen Fleming who made all the captains look at him with his talent to lead the side.
I have not followed Smith much so i don't know to comment. But i feel that S.Africans are a better bunch under him, in the recent years. And the credit goes to Smith.
Whats your opinion?

Smith is a Great player and good captain.But if I have to pick the best captain,,i will choose Mahela Jayawardne.He has put great energy in the team.Srilankan team is playing like a unit.so JAYA is my pick.

G Smith is no doubt a good captain but he needs to perform consistantly to prove himself. I think this year they have not won any matches so I cannot name him as the captain of the year 2008.
