Can you believe that here in Chgo we pay a bottled water Tax!

It's bad enough to by bottled water but i do for my sons now that their back at school and they can only take a disposable bottle with them,but we have to pay .5 for each bottle. So if i buy a 24 pack of water i have to pay and extra $1.20. I have never heard of anyother state or country doing this. Does anyone else pay an extra tax?
