I do realize spiders eat small insects but they spiders don't have a chance in the house. If I don't get to them first, the cat will eventually kill what she sees. We have our house sprayed for bugs so the spiders have nothing to eat if they get into the house. Sometimes they curl up and die. I am concerned about the kind of spider that may get into the house. The recluse spiders are dangerous, flesh eating spiders, that can kill. Several years ago a friend of my husband's was in another state with his company. They were in a nice hotel. He was bitten by a recluse spider, came back to the midwest and passed away.

Just take example of silkworm, if they are not producing such lovely silk, how u girls be getting lovely silk fabric, Nature provide every thing in universe, just need to think and explore Take care

I hate spider web. I will use other ways to get rid from mosquitoes rather than spider web. But since I am staying at 11th floor of an apartment,so seldom mosquitoes manage to fly into my house, lol. I don't have mosquitoes problem but spider webs problem. Spider webs make the place look dirty. Whenever I see any spider webs around, I will quickly use broom to clean it.

Oh gosh no way! If I see a cobweb I run screaming the other way! Ok well maybe not screaming or running, but I definitely head in the other direction as fast as I can. I absolutely hate spiders, they scare me so much. I know everyone says spiders are more scared of you then you are of them but I just don't bite it. They are hideous little creatures. Down in Southern Florida they get these HUGE spiders called wood spiders. They are about the size of your palm and bigger. The other night I was with my boyfriend at his parents house and we were in their downstairs apartment getting ready for bed. Well I glanced over at the TV and see this big black thing scurrying across the floor. I immediatly knew it was a spider and demanded my boyfriend kill it. LOL Once we finally tracked the thing down on the other side of the room his Dad killed it and it was a little bigger than his palm. A grown man's palm, so REALLY big! Needless to say I didn't stay downstairs that night, instead I headed up stairs to the guest bedroom. Spiders give me the heeby jeebies and I will always feel that way about them. I do like that they eat bugs and mosquitos, that's wonderful. If they just stayed outside and out of sight I would have no problem with them. But the minute they come into my house...watch out! On a side note, I do think spider webs are pretty as long as there is not a spider in them. It's amazing that they spun all of that and that they have to respin it everyday.

For you to have a spider web,it means a spider has been around there and surely it will return if it's not there presently.I understand that spiders are very dangerous and can even kill in some places, although i don't know the kind of spiders you have over there, but i believe that there are some spiders that can really do you harm. For these reasons,to be on the safer side, i will prefer not have their webs beside me,lotions and air freshners can be of help in place of a spider web in protecting yourselves from mosquito bites.

I do like spider, but I don't like it appear in or near my room. If I found one in my room, I will carry it to the garden and let it go. Spider and it net make the room not clean and they show the laziness of house mater. And I believe it will live a better life in the garden.
