The internet..

There is a company pushing people to invest in Internet 2, but that's all I've heard or seen about it. They claim it will make the Internet as we know it obsolete. They don't give enough information, however, for anyone to figure out what they really mean!

I thinks that some of the hype going around about the internet 2.o is false. To my it sounds very y2kesque. Well I hope that we will not have to rebuild the internet anyways. Thanks for reading and good luck.

If i recall correctly I2 (Internet2) has been launched since '96. Much like The Department of Defense's ARPANET (the precursor to the internet) it will be off-limits to the general population for some time to come while they work on all of the new technologies that it will implement. i'm quite sure IPv6 is one of those technologies. i think for now only certain research universities in the United States have access to I2. Maybe even the military, my memory fades and it's been awhile since i've delved into the subject. But it is true. I2 does exist.

I think that sounds pretty awesome. I know I will be alive to see it but wow I never heard for that yet hopefully the change will be good and awesome not bad and sucks like some computer changes ha ha. well yeah. I think it would only do good and better to for everyone in the world. WEll yeah I can't wait to see the changes that will happen. But do you know what year there planning to do this. Hopefully it isn't like 2030 or some crap that would suck.
