Did accepting Americas Player hurt Dans game?

What do you think? We all know that the houseguests have it all figured out that Dan was Americas Player. The only thing is , they don't know it was just for one week. So in their minds, he still is playing for America. Do you think being AP last week made him a huge target? or will he be smart enough to get out of it?

I think it definitely hurt his game. It broke any trust anyone had in him, and made his word unreliable. The house guests are going to continuosly be thinking about it and wondering whether or not he is speaking or if its the voice of America.

It did break the trust he had with Jerry. He is smart to keep denying that he is AP or no money for him.

Yes, sunshine4, I think it will hurt him. BUT if he can get past this week, and start making real allainces and vote on his own, he may be able to get out of it. I doubt they'd all ever figure out that AP was only for one week. If I were him, I would DENY DENY DENY putting in that vote against Jessie.

I don't know if he really can deny it as Libra, Keesha and Renny know it was him. If they were smart, they would have made a deal with Memphis that they would vote to keep him in, but they just gave it to him. Now Memphis can go back and verify it to michelle who exactly voted Jesse out. I think that AP did hurt Dan, but hopefully he can get threw it. I wonder if they are going to pick another AP for another week.

I don't like how out in the open the votes are this year. Last year when Eric was AP, there were times when people were truly baffled by the "mystery" vote. If Dan weren't so goofy, he may have been able to pull it off better. Because the voting is done in private, no one can really be 100% sure how everyone voted so that's why I would try and deny it and maybe point the finger at someone else, like Libra. LOL

I think that they new Libra and Keesha were switching to vote out Jesse. Renny is tight with Keesha, so it was pretty evident that she voted out Jesse too. That would leave Ollie, Michelle, Jerry and Dan...one of them to make the other vote to get out Jesse. The house didn't make a big deal about it after the fact~ except Michelle of course.

No I don't think it hurt him. Libra, April and Keisha all thought something was up with him a few weeks ago. Having America pick Jessie really helped Dan in getting it across. I would love for America to pick different players each week to sort of help them out. It would be a bit of a different twist :)

Once the nominations are made by Michelle I guess we will see if it does hurt him at all. ( I have read the spoilers, so I know the answer).

The rest of the houseguests are onto Dan. He is however making subtle advances that he is not America's Player. But come on something is up with Dan. Good thing the week is over so that Dan can go back to playing for himself. Mind you that hug with Jessie was quite funny LOL. He earned the money thats for sure. I think he has become a target but honestly there are bigger fish to fry in this game than Dan. Get the hugest threats out first and then deal with Dan.

It is a good thing it was just for one week. If it were any longer, there would be no doubt in anyones mind that he was AP. The hug was soooo funny! He did a great job on that one.

He didn't play it well. It was so out of place and obvious he was up to something when he made the suggestion to put Jesse up on the block. The rest of the stuff really wasn't so obvious and I think he got away with those. But he certainly wasn't careful enough how he went about getting Jesse up on the block. I know that they suspect he might be America's Player. But I am not convinced that they have decided on it yet. I think other things happened in the house that took their minds off of it. I do think it hurt his game, but only because he wasn't smart about how he accomplished the tasks. But with everything that has happened and now that Michelle is HOH, I think he has a chance to have it all forgotten. I think he needs to get himself an alliance though. I can't wait to find out what Michelle is going to do.

I wonder if Michelle will put him up because of the remarks Jesse said to Dan when he was leaving. It was like he was blaming Dan for him leaving. You are right, he wasn't at all sneaky about suggesting that jesse be put on the block.

yeah it really is screwing him over.. its making him out to be a psycho wishy washy "judas" which i dont think he is.. i mean he obviously wants to win and he is very good at his strategy but its definitely hurting him

It is funny how he seems to always be the swing vote. I think at first AP got in his way, but now he seems to be doing fine with the after effects.
