Just this week there was a news piece about a British woman who payed $50,000 US to have her pet dog cloned. This was done by a private company based in Korea, the first company to offer such a service.
The woman's pit bull had died. Tissue samples were taken from the dead dog, which the company used to clone not one, but 5 pit bull puppies for the woman.
Would you clone a pet?

I wouldn't. Partially because I've watched Pet Semetary so it would freak me out.
But also because there are so many in the shelters that I would feel like I needed to rescue another, not bring new lives into this world where there are already so many.
As much as I'd love to have back some of my past pets, I just couldn't do it.

If I was rich and had that kidn of money I would TOTALLY do it...I always get sad when I think my little amn wont be around forever. He's seriously like my baby and a member of our family. I wish he'd live as long as I do!
