The RNC, DNC and their respective candidates need to hang their heads in shame! When Paris Hilton becomes the voice of reason (in a spoof no less), it's time for both campaigns to wonder where their heads are. ;~D http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/64ad536a6d

Yea, I saw that. I'm shamed to say it but I'm half tempted to write her in. Sad , sad , sad!

Sorry, Paris is only 27 years old, but if she makes a run in 8 years, I might think of supporting her myself. LOL

Well.....I could suggest where their heads are, but this might not be the most appropriate forum for such a thing. But, I agree. First of all, I don't think McCain's group had the right to use their images without permission. At least, not to mention their names specifically. A generic reference to known celebrities might have worked - but he (they) used the two who are considered the most "blonde" (aka air-headed) to compare with Obama. First of all, normal, thinking people can't make an equivalent comparison of those two extremes. Even Republicans said that was far too over the top to be taken seriously. Secondly, he (they) publicly declared the two to be air-headed celebutantes. Isn't that pretty close to being libel? So, I'm happy that Paris came back with a very clever response that puts them in their place with a level of decorum and class I'm pleasantly surprised to see (given her other public displays). She may not be on my list of "hope-to-see" celebrities, but I can honestly say that I respect how she did this and THAT she did this. Sometimes doing nothing is more harm than good, and doing too much only enhances the negative attention. This was spot on perfect!

I loved it. And I was so pleased that McCain had a sense of humor about it. Hey it was funny!

Good for Paris! Both candidates could use a little humility and maybe she taught them some.

Just to be honest with you ParaTed I am not seeing much difference between McCian's energy plan and Paris's plan. Now Paris's plan makes more sense than Obama's inflate your tires plan.
