about jehovahs witnesses

What you think about them going door to door? I know they seem annoying but next time they come to the door listen to them. Cause they are doing the preaching work, if u remember it was commanded by jesus to teach and baptize in the name of the father,son and holy spirit.
Question: what u think is god's name and why not a lot of people use the name. Also why u not like them? Is it because they believe the bible and not follow holidays,politics? Or even the trinity. Well if u r not a reader of the bible, kind of shocking, but if u want to know about the future. Please ask them and they will tell u.

Well it is a double edged sword really. Yes it does state in the Bible that we should be a "Fisher of men" and instruct others on the word of Gid; but unfortunately the actions of people like the Jehovah's Witnesses is commonly seen as intrusive rather than of benefit. I have experienced visits myself and although I have no desire to embrace thei beliefs I do respect them and am not rude in any way.

Well I know that God's word is strong and sharper than a two edged sword, that why I am one of Jehovah's witnesses, because living by God's standards is not an act but a way of life. I know that we don't participate in holidays or politics because Remember jesus said that we are not to be part of the world, so in so doing we will be persucted for jsut believing in the bible. I am happy to be one of Jehovah's witnesses and I been baptized since oct 2003.

I respect all people and all religions. I have encountered the Jehovah's Witnesses, just like so many people have. I do not like to be rude, but they ring my bell, I can see who it is and rather than being rude, I will not open my door.
I go to church every Sunday, and study my own doctrines, therefore I rather not debate with someone over theirs. You say, why u not like them? For me, it is not that I do not like them, I am happy with my beliefs. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs and should not be challenged because of it.

I show respect of course when they come knocking. However I have had the same woman knocking on my door trying to "save" me and I have been saved for over 20 years.
I believe what gets me is that most do not know what they are believing in. They think that they are believing in one thing but their denomination actually believes another.
Jehovah witness believes that Jesus is Micheal the Archangel (Reasonings from the Scriptures, 1985, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, P. 218)
