I think the best option to get a job is by contacts. An insider should be able to push your application for any job that you applied for. A good recommendation is a sure way of getting a good job. In this modern days they are thousand of graduates who are unemployed and it is where contacts are most important. How to get contacts is another field you have to be able to establish. One has to be social, go clubbing, be active in church activities, join associations. You might never know you'll bump into the CEO of a company. I tell you of an example of how my son landed in a high paying job is by strong recommendation from an inside friend of an international company.
