There are 12 Greek Gods/Godesses: Aphrodite, Apollo Ares, Artemis, Athena, Demeter, Dionysus, Hephaestus, Hera, Hermes, Poseidon and Zeus. Most popular gods were Zeus and Poseidon. Movies about Poseidon - the God of the sea have been many. "The Poseidon Adventure", "The Clash of the Titans" to name some. The mythology are so detailed and vividly described that one sometimes would have thought they were not myths but real stories.

I replied because I'll follow this discussion; I do not have much idea about Greek mythology - but I know there must be someone offering good input in this subject. Let's see.
