It's right or wrong to do all the thing your parents told you to do ?

At the present day ,there are so many parents told there children to do what they want they to do ! And they often pass over their children's feeling .I think maybe the child also should thought about it too !
I think it's not reasonable for them to do this , shouldn't they ask their children's thoughts? And is it right or wrong for you to do all the thing your parents told you to do?

I think my parents are mortlas who have the capacity to make human errors and poor judgement-as a grown up, I know there virtues that only my parents were privilged to give me-yet having grown up into an adult, it is my duty to sieve out some of their ideas-those that are out-dated and inconsistent with modern world view, I must discard them-the rest that are invalueable will for ever be cherished and passed on to my children-it will be upto them to sort my own teachings on life to their own children, just like am doing right now to the the things my parents imparted unto me!

When you are young yes definitely you should follow what your parents expect of you. However when you become an adult I would like to think that most of us have been raised well enough to be able to make our on decisions. Out of respect to our parents though, we should always at least listen to their advice and consider it before making decisions. At least this way we get the benefit of their wisdom as well our own.
