Yes, it is true.
A bizarre crime occurred in China. The male relative of someone on the US Volleyball coaching staff was murdered. He and 2 two others were stabbed. Then the knife wielding murderer lept to his death. I can't make any sense of it. Here's the story.

I say not much can be done to affect the behavior of the criminal intent on suicide. Such people are beyond being influenced as to the consequences for their future.

Sigh... this has actually been discussed in the U.K. for 'dangerous' knives. That would be knives over a certain size and swords. I think swords are actully already illegal in parts of U.K.

The randomness of others actions will always be a mystery. And you can imagine the panic the Beijing PR people will be in right now as well! I agree that not much can be done to prevent acts such as this. All we can do is look for signs among those we know; but even with this example, what ARE these signs? We just aren't all qualified enoough to know what to look for. Sometimes something in a person's mind just snaps..... What I can't comprehend is why more and more people seek to take others down with them. If you wish to end your life why end random people's lives as well?? Some say for fame or to be remembered; but do we honestly remember the names of all the people that do this? I don't.

I would like to see a follow up as to what the Chinese investigation finds out. However, the CCP are such incredible liars who knows how much faith to put in anything they say?
