do you get married for getting married or for real need?

i know many people who get married only for getting married, esp. when they are in their marry age, and under the urge of relatives and parents and people around you, get married rashly. so when you are not very young any more and still single, will you lower the criteria of choosing a spouse? i'd like to hear about your opinions.

i'm getting married. and the only reason i'm doing that is because i love my fiance and i wanna have a life with him. :) But i know a lot of people who are getting married only because they are getting older.

Well, this is how it went for me -- I got married when I was 18 (thought I was in love) but I really was too young for marriage, I still wanted to have fun, go out with my husband. He wanted to stay home, save money and start a family. So, that didn't last long. I think I really got married that time because of my home life - not very good, etc. The second time around, I pretty much just married w/o really looking around because I didn't want to be alone.

i am glad to hear you say that-- we learn to be mature from experience. you are quite right, at the age of 18, we are not old enough to understand. even now many people are still confused about marriage no matter married or non-married ones.
