Well, there could be limitations. Of course, just like what sunshine said, if the discussion starter closes out a discussion with responses on it, mylot would have to deduct the earning by all who responded on that discussion. That would be unfair for everyone in that discussion.
But then, if we could be able to delete discussions with zero responses for a long time, it could work. It is yet to be agreed on how long a discussion should be open with no responses before it can be deleted if this feature will be considered. You can't close 'em out as you can't select a best response.
Ease of use would differ for each of us though. Right now, I'm comfortable with the way it is and even before the changes happened. I get by fine. good times.
As long as I can post fairly and properly, why not? Some people like features as well and of course, most of us are open to suggestions.

I would think that deleting a discussion with no post should be allowed at all times. That way if you see that you made a mistake after you publish, you could delete it and try again. But after someone responds to a post it should stay.

No I don't agree with deleting. Don't get me wrong I wanted that before, but then I realized that's not best. We are paid for discussions we reply to. If the post is deleted, then it's only fair those funds are subtracted from us. So in end it wouldn't be fair to all of those that replied to that post if the author just turned around and deleted it.

The main thing I would like to see changed is the rule about no cut/paste til 500 posts. It is very inconvenient not to have this tool. There are other ways of blocking spam. A simple reporting system would be enough.

I prefer to have some editing facility. But no need of deletion.

I concur with you, aengra4! The facility to delete our discussions is much desired by many mylotters. It is enough if we are permitted to delete our discussion without any responses, after four or five days of submission.

I do not think giving users the ability to delete their discussions would benefit anybody; those who have responded to the discussion or myLot as that would be some major work on their end..
say when users decide they do not want to be on myLot anymore and want to delete their discussions!
I think if in doubt whether material should be here especially about one's personal life, do not post
Also, some want to delete the discussions where they have no responses but I think these are ok and we shouldn't worry about these, happens to all of us, ok most of us (incase someone runs along saying it hasn't happened to them)

There are a few things that I wish mylot would change.
One: more money...duh!
Two:Easier layout for changing your profile.
Three: Active updates of your earnings.
Four: You can do everything from day one and no need to overcome milestones for privileges.
Thanks for reading and good luck.
