I helped the ants live easier, am i crazy?

One day i felt pity for the ants crawling from our kitchen wall down to our dining table. They are taking a long way to get some food to eat. What if it was me? I was like traveling from one city to another just for food. Imagine the time they were taking just to have what they need? So what I did, I took the bread crumbs they were getting from our table, put it very near to their home. And I put some more food near them so they dont have to travel far. My brother said I'm crazy. I did this actually for 3 days, watching how they live. I found out who was their queen, I saw who was their leader. Watching them felt like i was enjoying a movie. And take note: they weren't shy or scared in front of me! They went on and on, continued to work even if I was there looking at them. Am i crazy? or have you done the same thing? Have you helped an ant to live or have u felt pity to a bee or a cockroach at least once in your life?

No, I don't help ants. I kill them. It took me like a week to get rid of all of them but they're gone. They were getting into my house and my garbage and into my dogs' food in the house. They were running along the base of my house and into my flowers and roses and I poisoned them.
As to whether you're crazy for helping them it's not for me to judge that. Whatever you do is fine with me.

What an interesting topic!
I don't think it's crazy you helped the little guys. I think it's very generous.
I have never helped an insect before, I don't think.
Sometimes if a spider is in the house, I let them free outside, but that's about it.
One thing is for sure, I'd NEVER help a cockroach. YUCK. I'm terrified of them. Lol.
