will metallica make a return to metal?

I heard that metallica is releasing a new album. Do you think they will return to playing metal? Do you want them to? personally I hope so. They are quite a talented band, and I don't care for their new style.

I think that every metallica fan hopes it.. but i have the trust that they will get again in the 80's i really hope so... and i cant wait for september to get it and see if my trust was ok

Frankly, Metallica jumped the shark around Re:Load, when their songs starting having sequels. St Anger was just further evidence. I can't say I'd buy anything from the miserable, formulaic, moneygrabbing, napster-suing sods ever again.
