been in a room full of people (or just you and someone else) and you know you are just abou STARVING.. all of a sudden like Tuhnder , of course when the room is full of silence... you stomache decides to make a statement.. "Grumble, Grumble, Grumble"! Feed me!
Do you get embarrassed, try to suck in your gut, cross your legs, switch positions, etc.? Do you ignore this, or do you say "Shhh.. we'll eat in a minute and say, I am starving"?

Haha! Great question: something I am sure many of us mylotters can relate to in one way or another. I have had my stomach make odd noises begging for food in public, and I get kind of embarrassed, but on some occasions it is rather funny. It's always at the wrong time for me though like in Church, School, etc where there is a lot of silence and my stomach's stentorian bellows of hunger can be heard across the room!

HeeHee we have all been there! Mine usually happens during a lunch meeting, they say 'Aren't you going to eat" I know I don't like the food, I say "No I am not too hungry" Then BAM... there goes the Tummy.. Exclaiming 'She lied, She Lied.. She is starving" LOL

Yes, I think a LOT of us can relate to that! I just make a joke of it, because what else can you do? It's not something you can control. Probably better to make sure everyone knows it's your STOMACH making the noise, and not something else ... lol!

haha.
well, it is embarrassing.
we all have those times. it ALWAYS happens when it's quiet, too.
i just try to say something light-hearted to ease the situation.
i can tell you, that i've tried to do everything to quiet my gut
and nothing works.
it's like an animal.
it's hungry and it wants fed. NOW !
