Please can any one tell a site that pays for posting ads

I have seen many sites online which pays for posting ads but they ask to pay money.I don't know for what reason they ask money.Can any one please tell me a site that pays for posting ads and which is for international members.Today i have joined a site but it is only fro US members.Please tell me one that is for international members.

The only one I know is WideCircles. They pay $.50 per post, don't know if it international though.

This seems to be pretty interesting can you throw some more light on this.What exactly we need to do here to gain some money?
