Referral "hunt" where money is offered - is that okay? Would you do it?

I have a question that I have been wondering about. Most of the people here, including myself try in different way to get referrals to our sites. Some people like myself try to be less promoting and more discussing as well as trying to be helpful to the newer users. Also when I do get referrals through here I try my best to keep them updated about interesting information and be available to any questions. A happy referral is clicking better than ten inactive ones Then there are some that are a lot more blatantly promoting their sites, and some are even offering cash rewards or payments from themselves if you join as their referrals. I have always been a bit wary of that. No offense intended, but you never know who the person is that you sign up under and there could be scammers here as well. In all fairness I doubt it because it would only cause the referral to stop clicking so no good will come out, but still. What I am wondering about though, is whether this is actually okay and allowed. I have never seen anywhere in any TOS of the ptc this being clearly written, but does it come under any provision in the "standard" TOS? Also, next part, is it allowed on myLot to have money incitaments in discussions like that? Can someone enlighten me on this please? And also, would you consider offering money to someone to sign up under you, and would you consider to sign up through such an offer? What is your opinion about this way to get referrals?

hi, i occasionally recommend my friends in life to join , i don't rely on them posting many messages, since people really have pleasure of exchaning idea. some of them simply input mylot.com, without my user name, but it's ok.
