Have you seen any parrots in the wild?

I loved going to Australia, a country that has such a rich bird life. I saw many white cockatoos, lots of pink and gray galahs and many colorful parakeets like my favorite the Port Lincoln parakeet.
I went to Guatemala and saw a postcard showing the white fronted Amazon parrot. I am lucky enough to own one of these. He is green with a white patch of his head, red around his eyes and he was colorful wings. His name is Bingo and my family has had him for the last 21 years.
One day I would love to go to South America and see the scarlet and the blue and gold macaws.
Have you seen any parrots in the wild? If so which ones and where?
Do you own a parrot? If so which kind?

Oh,Australia,a magic nation that I dreamed many times,beautiful landscape and various animals,I really want to travel to there.Parrots,one of the most clever animals in the world,I have read some books about this kind of bird and the most interesting one is "Charle",a white cocktoo.
I like parrots but I haven't got one yet,you know,I can't take care of pets good,so I think I had better to leave them free.

No i havent seen them in thew wild, but my daddy had one in the past..a yellow-blue-red one. its very big and well strong, making them able to smash any seed or leaves they want. its a uncommon and awesome annimal, but i dont recommend anyone to make them your personal pet... they are more beautiful when living in the wild.

Yes, I have seen parrots and cockatoos in the wild. THey are even more beautiful than the ones people see in the stores - I guess because they're free.
I always liked parrots but we never had one for some reason. MY aunt however had one, and he used to bite LOL

Hi maximax8! You are so blessed to be able to travel a lot my friend. How I wish I could do the same soon. I have never seen any parrots in the wild. I usually see them in cages. I really am not sure though what kind of parrots they are but they are really beautiful.

No I have not seen any parrots in the wild. I would love to see them in their own enviroment though!
Bingo sounds wonderful - it is nice that your family are one of the good ones who have kept the parrot for so long unlike some owners who get bored. Heres to masny more years with Bingo!

no i dont own any parrots but that would be awsome.i own dogs 3 of them.i have seen some cool little green parrots that are wild around key west fl and miami fl.but thats it for wild parrots.other than that i have seen lots of macaws and cockatoos in friends homes and pet stores.ive always be realy facinated with them.
