What would you do if you won the lottery?

I understand that for many of us this is a pipedream.
Let's dream a bit...
What would you do with it after you won?
For me I would pay off all of my bills first. Setup a college trust fund for the little ones.
Then I would buy about 100 acres of land and build a huge house right in the middle of it. After that, I would make sure no one in my family ever had to work again.
I wouldn't travel the world as I don't really have a need to. Instead, I would have a 30 acre pond built and I would fish all the way up until the day I died.

It would definately change my lifestyle.
I would fish all day long without a care in the world.

Well said. Educating the future of the world is awesome. I never thought of that. Well done.

I would make sure that my family are financially stable for life and then go about giving money to various good causes around the world.
After all, as long as you have enough to live comfortably, then there is no need to keep the rest sitting in the bank.

I agree to a point. I would keep some in the bank for my children. hopefully they will leave enough for their children, and so on.

If I won the lottery, I definitely wouldn't tell ANYONE. I would just help out the people I love without raising suspicion. With that said (lol) I would pay off the rest of what my scholarship isn't covering grad school. Then I'd buy a house and help loved ones so that my family doesn't struggle. I would also get a more eficient car because I drive an SUV now, and it sucks on gas. After that, I'd put it in the bank. I would eventually want to invest, but definitely not now with the economy the way it is.

Good point, once the word got out you would be swarmed by everyone.
Have all the money in the world and your best purchase would end up being track shoes.
