would it be cheaper to have an rv and travel between states i would like to live in or buy separate houses in all the areas? obviously i couldnt live in the houses all the time so i would prob rent them out or something but that could be a pain since they might get damaged etc.. although rv would cost an arm and a leg as far as traveling and well there arent hybrid rvs so i would be hurting the environment but set aside the whole hurting the environment thing which would be better? i would like the stability of an house with an address to go to but at the same time i hate waste and wouldnt want something not being used or kick out renters every once in awhile unless i did a time share which is beyond a rip off.. so help me spend my money haha

if you do not like the gas prices than your answer would be to buy separate houses in all the areas and if you do not like paying for taxes for each house you own for the rest of your life than your answer would be to buy an rv.

With my luck, if I won the Lottery, so would 10 million others at the same time! I'd end up with maybe $2.00. LOL I would think it would be easier to buy the RV and treat traveling like a vacation; do it for a year, then go back and enjoy my one true home. Rent out the RV for 5 years, then take another year off and travel again. Or, sell the RV and buy a new one (or used one) each time I felt the urge to travel. I doubt many people would want to rent a place for 6, 8 or 10 months a year! I'd buy land wherever I wanted to "live" on a temporary basis. Have all necessary utilities installed on the land so I could park my "home" whenever I wanted. Of course, the places I want to spend time in can't be driven to! I've seen about half of the United States so I'm satisfied on the home front. I'd love to vacation in Hawaii one of these days. I've already been to the Caribbean. I want to visit different countries and see how the people really live. My name originates from England, so naturally I'd have to stop there. There's a lot of German blood in me, so Germany would be on the list. I've always wanted to see Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, etc. etc. etc. Oh, there are so many places and such little time! Not to mention money.

I'm not scared of flying over the ocean, but I don't think I'd like to ride in an airplane that long! I'd rather take a cruise! But then, you have to make sure the weather cooperates and is warm enough. I keep having visions of 'Titanic'!

I would buy a house in Sydney, my favorite city in the world. I would spend six months of the year there from October to March, the warmest time of the year. I would buy a thatched cottage in the English countryside and a camper van to explore in every weekend. I would continue to travel all over the world on holidays leaving either my home in Sydney or my home in England for a few weeks at a time. When not in my home I would allow friends and relatives to stay there on holiday. I wouldn't have to worry about getting a permanent visa for Australia but just get a tourist visa for six months every time. I hope that you win the lottery one day.

I would love to do the RV thing and travel the country. You could carry everything with you, you never have to pack and your house will go wherever you go. If you win the lottery, can I come with? lol Hugs, Tianna

well it is really a lucky thing and I have to admit that I literally dream of woning lottery someday. If it comes true, first,i would buy a big flat for my parents so that they can enjoy their life.If the money is enough,i would do some inwest to make much more money. And i'd like to give some of the money to the poor area to build some schools for those children who can not go to school.Last,is for myself.I have a dreanm that is to travel around the world since i was a child. Now,i wanna to accomplish it.Together with my lover, travel around the world.

OK first of all if you won the lottery why wouldn't you fly from home to home? If I won the lottery I'd buy a condo in Ft Lauderdale, a horse farm in New Mexico, and then a small place by my daughter in Ohio. Of course I'd also buy a home for my daughter or pay hers off, doesn't helping family go without saying? Also the RV part. My husband and I currently live permanently in an RV-we sold our house and move around the country where-ever his work takes us. It is a good life I have to admit. We have been coast to coast, and get to see a lot. And RV parks are cheap and usually nice. Most are well kept, though we have been in a couple that weren't that nice. Anyways, a good RV would be a motorhome. They are roomy, you get a great view out of the front while driving, and are easy to set up and tear down when at a park. And you would obviously be able to afford a $700,000 motorhome - you DID win the lottery. So you would be traveling in luxury. You could even afford to hire someone to drive you if you didn't feel up to it. THAT would be the life!!!

Well, if it was me, I would want to buy an RV and travel some. But at the same time I would find a state or area I would really be happy living in, and buy a nice home and have somewhere I could call home when I am not so busy traveling. I know that I would probably do some Flying or traveling by amtrak as well just to take a break from being in a vehicle of the time as well. But as long as I had a Financial advisor helping with my planning and supervision of funds, who was recommended from others, I know everything would be Ok, and I would have Fun with my life as well.
