post proof of your payout in the forum before you get paid? I read on PTC Talk sites should not do this. I dont mind posting to help members and the site BUT I also dont want my payment held hostage. I earned that money. What do you think?

What if it is your first payout? How the heck can you post something you haven't gotten yet? If a site did that, I would post it to get the payout but that's the last that site would see of me! I would tell them they could go piss up a rope! If they were truly honest then they wouldn't need to resort to such BS

I don't mind them trying to protect themselves, as you say it is a business. But, forcing people to prove they got paid is a little unethical to me. It is a funny saying, piss up a rope

I agree, it should be a "courtesy". If people really like the site, they wont mind posting a proof.

I wouldn't mind posting proof of payment but I don't think they should make it mandatory. They could at least say if you don't want to post the proof, to write your success story.

Exactly my point! Not everyone is good at making screen shots or have the time.

I know I'm not! And with most things blacken out to avoid personal ID stuff going thro, it can very easily be "made up". Only the site would know if you did or didn't get paid, but if fake info just posted on a forum to get referrals, just cause a "proof of payment" is there, doesn't mean it is real or honest, so what difference does it really make. I know the sites are just tyring for promo help, but what they are doing is making it harder for us to work the site over pennies. But then again, maybe those that are the honest ones and will do all their little quirky "requirements", the site at least knows those are the honest members and those that don't wnat to "invest" the time to do it, are probably not the honest members or those just relying on strickly referral earnings and not doing anything themsleves.

Wow - didn't realize it was such a big deal. I have three listed that say something (have to go back and refresh) that they want a post somewhere after your first payment or they will hold up your second. I figured, okay, I might as well just go post somewhere of my proof of payment for all the site I get paid on - good promo and all that, possibly a referral in there somewhere. But good grief, if they are going to be so snotty about it... well, I was going to say I'll find another site towork, but I am on most of the "good" sites already. I don't know, I'll just have to wait to see what I will do - once I reach cash out mini.... and that could be couple more months, so I'll lurk and listen and decide later - much later!!! I can see why they'd want you to post -good promo for their site and stablizes them as a "good" site. But to make it mandatory and to where they want it...bit much to ask me thinks! But then again "he who has the gold, makes the rules" - so ... bad boys, bad boys.....whatcha gonna do when they come for you, bad boys!! (both my kids are cops, they tend to use this song phrase regularly! Sorry! I just miss my kids!)

This has become one of those things I don't think about - I just get on and do it. If the site says it has to be done in order to get the next payout, I don't stop to think that it should or should not be done, like you I do it. Howevere since this became the way of doing things on so many sites I have also become aware of many cheaters The forums are full of payment proofs and it is so easy for anyone to go and 'steal' one and call it his own. I have seen that done here on MyLot It's a lot of extra work at the time you receive your payout but if it assures you getting the next one, I'll carry on doing it.
