How do you manage myLot emails?

Email Folder - This is where my myLot emails goes.

In my Windows Live Mail, I have separate folder for myLot emails namely;comment All comments to my discussions automatically goes to this folder New Discussions All new discussions started by my friends automatically goes to this folder New Response All responses to my discussions automatically goes to this folder How about you? Do you have this kind of email management? Or a different method? Please share. Thanks.

Hi friend, i don't have any email management. I lost my email id, that i had given to mylot once. So i don't getting alerts from mylot or messages from mylot. So its hard to know from starting discussion. That why i go to friends started discussions.thanks

O I see. Yeah, you can do that but having email is an advantage since you can see it at once and where those discussions came from.

I just setup a rule to send them all to the same folder. I havent been doing this long so I don't get flooded by MyLot emails.

Great. Mine is having a different rules for each email type so I can filter them easily.

i have long been using this kind of notification management with mylot in my email inbox. i use yahoo mail and it is also so easy to set up filters to direct incoming messages to different folders. (neildc @ red/88/1549)

Wow this sounds like a great email management system! I have never even thought of doing something like this, I wonder if AOL has this type of feature? When I first joined mylot I was getting email notifications on EVERYTHING! For when my responses got comments, my discussions got responses, the digest, and then if I got a best answer. It was clogging up my mailbox way too much so I just went into preferences and deselected everything so now I just get the best responses notifications. I figure I can just go to my profile page and look through the other stuff, no need to receive an email each time, ya know?
