Do you think boys should be able to play with dolls and other typically girls toys? What are your views? I think every child should be able to play with any type of toy that interests them.

LOL, well before I could think of how to answer this, hubby came into the room and stated..."that dog don't hunt", meaning basically that his son won't play with dolls....I think dolls do give boys a sense of compassion and nurturing though...so sometimes it's okay...just not all the time, like the ONLY toy they play with, then I'd be worried.

I have to agree that dolls teach boys a sense of compassion. It's a vital quality that they should posess.

My hubby also gets a little annoyed if the boys play with their sisters toys for a long time. I tell him to get over it, lol. They're have fun and that's what matters.

I think it helps them as daddy's when they get older.

I agree with you. It does help them learn to be more nurturing.

I Agree Girls Play With Lots Of Boys Stuff So I Think Boys Should Have A Right To What They Want To Play With

Thanks, I also think that way. Why should it be okay for girls to play with boy toys but not the other way around. It's a double standard.
