Yep that's right..
But their name wasn't Linkin Park by then, they were still called Hybrid Theory..But some other bands in othjer places had that name as well, so they've changed theirs to Linkin Park, and they've called their first album after there nO.1 hit in the end, hybrid theory
So this was the name of their first song;

i do not know k=nothing about limkim park but i know about verygood singers like mariah carey and eminem he is a lyricist actually but he is a also a very goos singer indeed and he was awesome in the 8 miles film an d he alos launched
50 cents when he was in days of struggle and also he recovered from the gang war that led him to dodge 8 bullets in his abs

hayyyyyy u don't know linkin park ..........listen once linkin n u know wht a great band it is n u'll find best of the song of u r life like numb(my fav one) .... so go 4 it... :)
