Bux-sites: what are they exactly?

I gained a lot of experience with Get Paid To-sites, since I began doing those in 2001. The last year I read a lot about Bux-sites. Now I'm wondering: what's the difference between a GPT-site and a Bux-site. Do you earn more or less? And can you give me the names of some Bux-sites I can try out.
