What's the last movie you saw in theatre?

Friday during the day, my mom is picking up the kids and they will go on holiday for 10 days. I want to surprise my husband by going to the movie that night and having a romantic night out. First dinner, than a movie, and maybe dancing afterwards. Can't hardly wait until friday. I love my kids very much, but spending some one-on-one-time with my husband is sure great too. While I'm planning our night I was wondering, what is the last movie you saw in theatre? Did you like it or not? Is it a long time ago, or very recently? Have a nice day

I haven't seen the Batman movie yet, I've been waiting for the crowds to thin out a little so I can see it at the IMAX theater, I'm looking forward to it, maybe this weekend.

the last movie i seen in theater was little nicky. that was when my oldest was 6 months, she just turned 8 in june so that tells ya how long ago it was lol. i didn't like it. i went with the boyfriend i was with at the time and his friend. it was his friends idea for me to go to have a few hours away from the baby. i almost ended up going with the friend alone cause we thought the sitter wasn't gonna make it so the friend told my boyfriend to stay home with the baby so i could get away for a bit. but the sitter showed, just a little late was all

You were right to do that. You need a break sometimes when you have little kids. And even if they are a bit older you need that, that's why I'm glad they are going on vacation with my mom this friday, jippie. I will enjoy my time alone (and start missing them after five minutes ) Have a nice day

yeah we do need breaks once in a while. i think i finally got that thru my hubbys head now (only took 7 yrs for it to sink in lol). with having 3 kids, only 1(my 8 yr old daughter) in school and the youngest teething and me being home all day with them i like being able to go out once in a while with the "girls" for girls night out just to get out for a while. you can only handle staring at the same 4 walls all the time and can only clean things so many times and wipe butts and nose so much before your mind says i need a break. hes away 11 hours a day, 5 days a week, after him taking holidays 2 weeks ago and seeing what i hve to do with all 3 kids and still keep the house clean hes finally realized how tough it in on me. he just asks when we go for girls night out that we do it saturday night instead of friday night since hes worked all day friday and is tired.

That sounds like a wonderful evening. The last movie I saw in the theater was The Rocker with Rainn Wilson (from The Office). We don't go to the movies much...we used free passes I got for the film (probably would've waited till it came out on DVD otherwise) and it was much better than I expected. Rainn Wilson was very funny as a former drummer for an 80s hair band and it wasn't completely goofy/silly..it was pretty sweet.

Yes, it's still in the theaters. A great movie I just saw on DVD is Lars and the Real Girl...it's so crazy but so sweet and funny. I loved it.

I never heard of that movie. Is it a rather new one, or not? I'll check it out. If it looks good, I'll get it on my list. I always have lists of movie I want to see one day, that helps me in deciding when I'm out to rent a movie. Have a nice day

I saw "Dark Knight" the new Batman movie last Saturday..... I did enjoy it but it was a little long in parts. Heath Ledger as the Joker was excellent and out a whole new spin on the character so I would not be surprised if he wins a posthumous Oscar for it! Maybe this movie may not be the best choice for you both because it goes for two and a half hours! If you will be having dinner AND going dancing afterwards a movie this long may eat up too big a part of your evening. Good luck with your night out!

The last movie I saw was The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I was too stressed last week that My girlfriend and I watched this to unwind. Well the Mummy has funny and romantic scenes too but if you want to be really mushy watch something else but if you want to have a good laugh and to see some happiness from your husband because of the action. GO watch the Mummy

I'll definitely put the mummy on my 'must see' list, but I don't think I will go see it in theatre. I'd rather watch those movies at home where I don't bother anyone when I'm laughing Have a nice day

Hey there bieke81 I think the last film I went to see was Gladiator back in 2000 when I was heavily pregnant with my first son and I was very uncomfortable as it wasn't one of the shortest films I have ever seen!!

I actually have been to the theatre twice in the last 2 weeks. The first week I went to see Mama Mia. I loved it. It was a good chick flick and I went to see it with my girlfriends. It will have you moving in your seat, laughing, crying, and feeling love in your heart. I absolutely loved it. I also saw the play on Broadway so I think that made me love it more. The second week I went to see StepBrothers with my best friend. It was hilarious. It was a little crude but you have to expect that when you are going to see a movie with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. There is part when they are fighting like little brothers it is hilarious. I think everyone should go see it if they just want to sit and laught their buttocks off. LOL!

I will not go see Mama Mia in theatre. I will wait to get it on DVD. My husband doesn't like chick flicks so I would have to go alone, and I don't like that. Stepbrothers sounds like a fun movie. I don't know if they are playing it around here. I'll look into that. have a nice day

The Dark Knight is a movie you won't regret watching. With all the action and the great performances, there are some scenes that made everyone in the theatre laugh. I loved it. I also enjoyed Wall-e but it's the type of movie that is great for a whole family outing.

It's very nice that you're going to have some alone time with hubby. Every couple needs that now and then. My hubby and I are going to have that tomorrow night, but we are going to a concert instead of a night on the town. I am excited though! To answer your question, the last movie I saw in theaters was Hancock a couple weeks ago. I was having a very stressful day and needed to get out, so I left the kids with hubby and went all by myself. It was just what I needed. We also recently saw Wall-E and Get Smart at a drive in. That was very nice. The last time before that would have been Pirates of the Caribbean 3 on our anniversary over a year ago.

Hancock seems like a good movie too. I always have troubles deciding which one I will go and see. It's always so difficult, 'cause there are always a couple of movies that I really would want to see. Maybe I'll flip a coin for it Have a nice day
