i think that mika hakkinen was the driver with the most aggresive style.. he born to become champion... just think about it... if he was driving to mclaren now that it is more reliable car then imagine what he could achieve...

According to me, my all time favorite driver with the best driving style is Michael Schumacher as I have seen no other driver with such a unique and professional driving style. Many drivers are coming every year but no one is near him.

It's always difficutl to compare different drivers of different eras whitout them actually all being i nthe same car at the same time, ideally when they were at their peak performance. Alain Prost was always smooth and certainly when he and Mansell were at FErrari in 1990 they found parts would last longer on Prost's car than on Mansell's, due to the different driving styles. The same was true of Jim Clark and of Jackie Stewart, in that they were easy of their cars, not causing too much undue stress. From a mechanics point of view this good, but no very exciting to watch. Gilles Villeneuve had a great style to watch, abolsutly throwing the car into corners and getting performances out of his Ferrari's that should not have been possibile - check out YouTube for footage. Nigel Mansell was also the same, although as I've alreadynoted, he also put too much strain on his cars, probably explains why some fo his races with Lotus often ended with 'Did Not Finish'. Niki Lauda nad James Hunt are aslo good to watch footage of, esepcially during the 1975 Dutch Grand Prix. There's probably more to add, but I'll need to go away and think a bit more. Hope this helps.
