what do you do if your parents do not like your gril friend / boy friend?

I use to have a boyfriend ,but he's mother do not like me for some reason. This is sad,and I agree that we need parents' bless,if no ,maybe we will be more hard in the future. We say goodbye at last.
what's your opinion for this matter? I used to think the most important is that if they love each other,BUT now I find the love is so pale against the reality.

You have to decide how much that person means to you. If they mean a lot then ignore your family. My mom and brother don't like my husband, but that doesn't really matter because he is the man for me and loves and cherishes me. That is all that matters. Well, that and I love him too!
