Hi shana123! I live in a tropical country and the global warming has somehow increased the heat that we experienced each summer. It is very hot in the summer and sometimes hot too during the rainy season. Nevertheless, it is still good to know that we can prevent kidney stones from forming by drinking extra 2 glasses of water each day from the regular 8 glasses that is recommended and also, not to add salt in our food anymore. I think, we just have to take that good advice rather than suffer from the excruciating pain that can be brought about by kidney stones. Thank you for sharing this information my friend. Take care always..God Bless!

Any idea if kidney stones is more prone to men than women? My boyfriends father suffers from this and I feel so sorry that he has to deal with this and I will pass this on to him. I know he drinks ALOT of tea and that much contribute because it robs your body of water like coffee. I cross my fingers hoping that my boyfriend does not have to deal with this in the future and will definately make sure he drinks more water. Thanks for sharing this peice with me.
