I need information on bluetooth. Help!

My husband bought a Motorola, H700, bluetooth second hand. I have no idea how or even if it is compatible with my phone. My phone has a bluetooth feature. When I select it a prompt comes on for it to be visible or invisible. It also says I have no Device in my devices. I have a virgin mobile WILD CARD. Can it be turned on with just the earpiece? Do you need a charger or a USB connection? I have no clue as where to begin. I have been trying to contact Motorola about obtaining information or instructions on the H700.The site isnt available as of this morning. So I am hoping someone can help me. First off can I even use a second hand bluetooth? Please help me? dl
