Once we start a discussion, I believe we should all have the decency and courtesy to nominate a best response. Not only it would provide closure to your own discussion but it would also show that you actually care for the opinions and viewpoints of your fellow myLotters and you have actually taken time to go through all the feedback that has been left in your discussion. Just my take on this, what do you think?

Yep I agree, it is one of the best ways to display your interest in those that reply to your discussions. It's also a wonderful way of thanking those that really put some effort into responding to you. I love to not only give the Best Response, but to reply to each of my posters with a response as well. Not a "thanks for sharing" but an acknowledge to their part in the discussion, whether I agree or disagree with them, just about everyone can make a valid point.

Absolutely, I am with you in this regard. A simple thank you note is simply rudeness in disguise and just won't suffice. I believe if your readers has put in their sincerest effort, time and interest in reading your discussion, then contemplating over it and finally, leaving a well thought-out feedback on it, then they should deserve the same kind of enthusiasm from the author side. It is a simple way of saying that I appreciate your feedback. I agree with your last point too, that we should remain open-minded and accept everyone's opinion, even if they do don't coincide with our own point of views. This very attribute makes the discussion even more healthier and progressive. I am always looking for myLotters such as your self. Have a very nice day!

That's right. I always give a best response to someone in my discussions, and I think you too will select a best response in this discussion :) I always respond to everybody who has responded to my discussion, at least I thank for responding.

Yes I would definitely select a best response. Believe me, if I have the option to select more than one response as best, I would because really all of them feel so right :P. Anyways, thank you so much by dropping by and yes, i always like to end discussions which I have started, be it over here or in real life. :D
