some people like window shopping, while i rarely do. cause i can't bear the feeling when i find my favorite clothes, handbags, shoes, boots or things like that, but never buy them, from my past experience, as long as i like something, i can always buy it home sooner or later. if i didn't buy it right away, it is a must that i buy it in a few days, or i will feel very uncomfortable.

good with anything - pic of a beatiful rose gold movado watch
sounds like your a bond fide shop-a-holic. I will window shop but often there is always one or two items I am always keeping my eyes on in case some stroke of luck I run into some extra money not going to bills and I will splurge immediately. But luckily I have a love for books and its not as expensive as the love for clothes since the local boutigues in my community want 75$ for a t-shirt and I like to show my individuality and dont really like buying all my clothes from the mall so some times I will spend a lot for something but the most I paid for a t-shirt was 49$. I like to keep my eye on watches and to me nothing better than a nice watch, for me its a pearl faced MOVADO watch that will be the first thing Im going to buy when I can choke up an extra couple thousand. The most I will spend on pants is 60$ and dresses I will go up to a hundred if its just right, so you can see how easily it all adds up so its good to have other hobbies you can splurge on, have any good books?

wonderful response. see? i really envy you. you can pay small money on a good quality t-shirt or pants and whatever. well in my place, i mean in china, with our native money, the percentage of expenses is badly unbalanced ! let's say, if one earns 5000 yuan a month, that's good salary in my city, a normal pair of shoes costs 280 after sale to 600yuan on average, the cheapest jeans are 60-100yuan, with better ones, price goes up to 299--1200, and so on! let alone those majority people whose salary is below 2000 yuan/ month.

I think you have illustrated your situation perfectly and that sounds tough especially when you want to look your best and I had no idea about the prices of China being like this and Im so happy you helped me understand better.

Hi there gabbana! There are times when I do get home empty-handed after shopping. These are those times when what I intended to buy is not available or what I have prepared to buy is no longer available. There are also times when I really can't afford what I want to buy. There are instances when I would really feel bad. But later on comfort myself by reassuring myself that I will be able to buy something better the next time around.

same here, same here. especially when the product you are aiming at is sold and can not be booked.! that's terrible. and through my yeears' experience, people acquire items by chance .

I rarely go shopping. Usually, I accompany my family shopping because I tend to be chosen as the driver. Even if I go shopping, I rarely buy anything because there is nothing much that I like and so I tend to go home empty handed 90% of the time. I did that so often that my family members say I bring my money for vacation and not spending it.

Always. The same applies to the grocery, casino and everywhere else I spend money. I don't walk with money I don't want to spend because I will spend it. A horrible habit is a horrible habit. My father once told me " you can't see money without spending it " and thats the truth.

I almost always buy something when I go shopping. I don't really see the point of going shopping to come home empty handed lol. Unless, I just want to compare prices of something first. I suppose I have an addiction to shopping as well. I figure if I have the money to spend, then why not?

Hi I am very happy to just window shop,if I go alone I would not buy anything unless it was something that I really wanted badly.though yes I love to looka round the shops like most women and have a little retail therapy it is not essential that I get my purse out to purchase, often I am happy enough to have a coffee in Starbucks, and maybe eat a doughnut too

good for you, you are very rational, and i am not. very impulsive, often buy home useless stuff, some of the clothes never been worn even once, the tags remain intact. :(

I have gone shopping and come home empty handed. Sometimes I see things that I like when I go window shopping but then I just come home. I feel bad when I see things in a store that I like, for instance shoes or clothes but I don't have enough money to purchase them. Then I figure when I have the money I can go back a later time. I usually like to leave the store with something in hand. It just makes me feel better.
