Have you read The Fountainhead? What are your comments about the novel? What are your feelings about the characterizations? Do you think a character like Howard Roark can exist in the real world? I was really impressed by the novel when I first read it. It just blew my mind. I couldn't believe someone could portray such characters and make up a story that can be so enthralling and yet just revolving around a few personalities. Ayn Rand came up with a masterpiece in this novel. Howard Roark is a character that symbolizes the ideal of good and strength. I don't think its possible to get people like him in real who can have the courage to fight for what they believe in when the whole world thinks the opposite. And a person who can be so righteous about his ways and never give up even when the whole world is against him. I really admire that character.
