Do you have a dvd movie collection?

I'm almost embarrassed to say this, it makes me into a bit of a movie geek, but my collection counts 1300+ DVD titles :-)

We don't collect movies. There area few we will buy, but its very rare. We just don't normally watch the same movie more then once or twice, so its not really worth it to us to collect them.

I am getting one as I have a DVD player in my computer now thanks to a good friend but I am hoping to save enough money to be able to buy myself a portable DVD player....maybe for christmas.

Oh my goodness! I have not even tried to count mine! Not only do I buy all the movies we want to see but we also collect some tv series. I have all of Buffy and Angel. I have the two seasons of Dark Angel. The first 4 seasons of Alias. All 6 seasons of Gilmore Girls and one season of Dawson's Creek. I have movies galore! From kids movies, Lilo and Stitch and Nanny McPhee...to Emily Rose and V for Vendetta. I don't think I could catalog all my movies in one day. But ya know...I just may try this summer when I can get all the help from the kids. I have movies in the Den and the Front Room...then I have movies and collections upstairs in the master bedroom. Wow...there are a lot of movies. But the way I see it. It is better to buy for us than it is to go to the theathre. With seven kids and two adults...that would be a small fortune. So spending the 20 bucks on a movie and a few more on microwave popcorn...is far cheaper than seeing it on the big screen. :)

I have a VHS and DVD collection quite wide with many old movies

I have a DVD collection of about 90 as of now..

I don't collect them myself. I borrow them from my son who borrows them from friends. It's cheaper that way, and I get to see a lot of movies. Prior to home movie viewing, I never went to theaters or saw any movies.

No I dont have any dvd collections..I don't even have a dvd player..I better get with it..I am falling behind in all the latest gadgets;)+

Yes, we have a DVD collection, so far we have about 100, we also have a VHS tape collection. We try to add a DVD to the collection once a month, sometimes more, depending on price.

yes its mostly cartoons for the kids :) i would have to say we have about 75;

I only have about 25, my dvd player broke a while back and I haven't got around to getting a new one yet, maybe santa will bring me a nice new one for christmas!!

Yes I do!!! I am actually just a movie collector period. I have 143 DvD's and over 200 on VHS. I love movies...can you tell!!?!

I'm pretty sure we don't have that many yet! We rent a lot of dvd's, so we don't always buy them. My husband's taste in movies is not the same as mine, so we own a lot of horror and psychological thrillers or R-rated movies. We only have a few of the PG or PG-13 adventure-type movies I like such as Batman Begins, Superman Returns, Zorro, etc. But, we are buying more and more as they come out on special. And sometimes we buy the "previously viewed" ones from Blockbuster and get a really good deal. We have never gotten one that had any flaws in it so far.

Sort of.. I can't ressit the one and two dollar, or five dollar movies once in awhile, when I see them. Some of them aren't too bad.. But I never watch them and can barely remember what I have.. I like the old classics best, black and white mysteries and westerns..

Yes i have a dvd collection and i also trade them at barterbee. I have more than 150 by the way.

I have over 300 kids movies and about 50 reg movies. I usually don't watch stuff more than once. But my daugter will watch the same movie 100 times

I don't personally collect DVD's, but my husband does. He has this urge of buying DVD's all the time, but I cut it down to one DVD a year because I'm running out of a place to put them all. I like to watch movies in the theater, if I like it enough then maybe I'll get it on DVD.
