The Gifts That She Gave Me is the story of a very special lady. Dee has been my friend since childhood and has taught me so much.
Here is the excerpt:She came right up to me out of nowhere: this little girl with the biggest, brightest smile I had ever seen. "Hi my name is Dee, glad to meet you, and always remember God loves you." This was my very first meeting with a wonderful, self-confident, joyful eight-year-old who was to become a lifelong friend.

My friends have taught me to not give up hope when I think all is lost. That tomorrow is another day to try again if I hadn't succeeded the day before. That there is no easy path in life. If you don't like your life the only thing standing in my way is myself, and I can change it even if in just small ways if I wanted.

My cousin Tony, who was my childhood friend with whom I played most of my childhood games, said to me one day, " Bryan I found this really great book, you wouldn't believe it, its all about gods and goddesses and its so good. "
Then he lent me a book about Greek mythology that started my life with books and taught me the basics of Greek civilisation.
I still remember the book and will never forget Tony.

Dear friend,
The actually thing I came to know from friends the value of friendship and what really friends mean for others and for myself. A good friend gives a good advices and hardly give bad advices but his intentions are mostly well being for his friends. On other side bad friends are always to be careful while dealing. Many things have been learnt from friends the actual love, caring, helping, trustworthy, fun, time pass so on are some of things I got from friends.

My friend Gale taught me to never give up on life and thank God for what we have. My dear friend
Gale passed away with a blood clot going to her heart She had been in a wheel chair for a couple of years with MS. When she first was diagnosed she was terrified of being dependant on others. She would rather die. As the disease advanced on her rapidly she never complained and kept on plugging. God spared her what she feared most as she was still living alone. She was my best friend. I really miss her.

I have a best of friend of mine since we are in our childhood but I never experienced that they are the one who shared for me because i am the one who always give them the word of wisdom and even to an example for the things that we need to do to helped other people, I am the person in the group that always convinced them to do so..... but I wished one day they can also share for me something that would be so special .......

I think that this is a wonderful story about the little girl. You can become friends with just about anybody at any age. People and children teach us things all of the time. I feel that friends that I have had have taught me to be accepting of people and patient also.
To make a good friend I believe is to be a good friend. I have found that approaching someone and introducing yourself to them can help you in making a long term friendship. Friends can help you to grow and can inspire you also.
