Why Blame Police?

I live in L.A. and last night a man shot his girlfriend and took hostage his little two year old girl. He barricaded himself in the house and was threatening to shoot himself. Ultimately, the police sharpshooter took him out to save the little girl's life. What I don't understand is how the family of this guy can now blame the police for doing their job. I'm sorry that the man was killed but I'm really tired of family members of criminals blaming the police when it was their family member who created the problem. I'm not saying the police are always right, either. However, when someone is in the middle of committing a crime, the police have to do what's in the best interest of everyone concerned and the one committing the crime gets the least concern, which is how it should be. If these people don't want their loved ones getting killed, perhaps they should teach them right from wrong so that they aren't committing a crime and the police aren't forced to kill them. I'm really tired of people who raise their kids without teaching them it's wrong to steal or kill or hold someone hostage or shoot someone and then they want to blame others when that person's actions culminate in consequences they don't like. I don't want anyone killed regardless of what they've done but when they are putting others, including the police, in danger, the police have to do what is necessary to protect themselves and others. I think the families of these people need to realize that if they aren't going to discipline their children and teach them right from wrong, they could seriously regret the outcome of that child's life.

I do not condone killing, murders etc. but in a case where someone else's life is in jeopardy the police have to do what they have to do. Especially when an innocent child is involved. You did not mention the outcome of the girlfriend, did she make it? You hear this so much, criminals committing crimes and the family fighting the police because they got shoot. Enough is enough

The girlfriend is in the hospital in critical condition. The little girl is fine.

In this case it sounds like the Tactical Team was a little too quick to go on the sniper. Sometimes people can be calmed down to the point where they are thinking and acting rational. If this was a stand off the sniper is being trained to hold off and only use the force that was necessary. However I have seen some snipers that have tried to take out the person doing the holding and have taken out the hostage. Just because you are trained to be a sniper doesn't mean that you are the best gunslinger in the west. Cause sadly to say no one is. You will always find someone better than you. Anyway what would happen if the sniper pegged off the girl? What would happen with the sniper should he shoot her? I don't know the full story on this as I have never heard anything about it. But I am sure my favorite person in the world Nancy Grace will have something to say. Mind you she sure does twist the story. I would of liked to see you have the article about this as others like myself and I am sure there are many others have not seen or heard anything about this story. So all we can comment about is our thoughts about it. We don't know the other side. We are only getting the one sided story and I am sure there is plenty more info that we could be using here.
