i read this article in a university magazine for people starting university and advising them on travelling. they evaluated bikes, car, bus, train. they concluded that bikes was the best as basically it had low carbon emmissions or print or what ever so how many of you cycle ? obviously most people dont go to university here but you go to work how many of you cycle? i knew a few teachers who cycle to work but mostly people take the car.. so ow do you travel the most i hardly ever use the train but some of my friends always do because they live near one. i dont drive but i get my dad or brother or sister to drop me off to places .. i dont cycle but i do walk alot!! so i mostly use the bus if you havent guessed already!!

I don't travel a lot. Usually I go out to do grocery shopping and my means of communication is car.

I went to the Netherlands and everyone there cycles so I came home with an interest in cycling. I cycled to and from the train station, then to and from work at the other end. I had days out by train then I would cycle along a scenic route. I kept my bike in my hall in my cottage. Then in 2005 I moved and my bike got put in my shed. I got pregnant in 2006 and so didn't want to cycle whilst pregnant. My toddler is now 15 months and I am considering getting a trailer that he can sit in to fix on to the back of my bike. I take buses into my local town, go on trains for days out, go on a ferry a couple of times a year and I go out walking every day.

i havent been to a place seeing loads of cyclists but that would be interesting. but only if weather is good lol aww that is sweet when you see little babies while people cycling. or when they put babies on their backs and you can see them so cute. though i wouldnt put one on my back lol too uncomfortable. or in my bike might drop the baby lol dont trust myself hehehe

Well. I usually have people drive me places. But then I got my car and license, and I drove everywhere... I wouldn't even walk to the 7-11 on the corner, but drive to it. But now that I have my license suspended I'm back to having my friends and family driving me around everywhere. But now I also discovered a slight passion for riding my bike places. I live in Portland so riding a bike is very convenient here. We are rated as the most Bicycle-Friendly city in North America, and worldwide only second to Amsterdam. We have lots of trails and regulations. And it's really great to be part of this Portland tradition. Besides, when you're a photographer, only the best places in Oregon could be reached by bicycling or walking.
