Can we upload GIF photos for our discussions?

Hi there my dear friends, I think I need some help here, I have some photos as GIF not JPEG, in GIF photos you can put more than one image and make them move as a film, when I made an GIF photo and try to upload it here in an discussion I start, when it complete uploaded I realized it is not moving just a still image as JPEG.
SO my question is can we upload GIF photos for our new discussions?
I try yo upload it on my photos so it was there and work and move like a film but here in discussion it is not work.
If anyone from you have any idea about that please give me the help I need, and thanks in advanced for you all.

Hi alkurishy,
I am sorry but I won't know how to do that, it is too complicated for me at he moment because I haven't learn to do that yet.

I am not sure about this one, but have seen many others who have posted pictures and such in here that move. I know that you can Earn more from posting pictures so hope you get the answers here that you are looking for.

Yes, Alkurishy, we can upload GIF, to our discussion, to interest photos and profile. I have been doing that. GIF files are limited to 256 colors unlike JPG. Animated GIF if too large will not animate, I've experimenting on the valid size I notice below 50kb and not larger than 100x100 pixel works well, the computer interest avatar is in GIF so as some user profile. Also Portable network graphics PNG are allowed here.

Yes my dear friend, I upload some animated GIF images to my discussions but it not work and move just the 1st image you see, but when I uploaded it to my photos I saw it moved.

I tried uploading bmp files in here and it doesn't accept it. So I am guessing, gif files also doesnt work here even though you were able to upload it. Maybe try contacting the admin of mylot and ask how you can make the gif files work. I am sure it it a lovely picture you have. It might work if you upload it in your profiles because some images work put on friends comments.

Well, I think if they care about this thing and try to make our work better here they will do what we tell them that we like to have here, but I think it is not working here in Mylot, they just give us what the want and we must work on what they give us here.

My friend I am not sure what to tell you other than check the mylot FAQ because there is a section about photos and it tells you what kind of files can be uploaded and what sizes,the only type I have ever uploaded is JPEG so I do not know if GIF can be uploaded or not,but it possible and maybe there is something on mylot that causes the moving images to not move when the discussion is posted,or you could always try sending mylot an email,I hope this helps.
